New Collection

The 'Up Close and Personal' collection

From bloom to print

Flowers take on so many different forms. From tight buds, to full bloom, being at the peak of life to the wilting process of fading colours to crispy edge petals. Watching as the last petal falls.
“There are always flowers for those who want to see them.” — Henri Matisse

Elegance in your living space

Whether you are looking for a piece of art for your home or office, these fine art prints will evoke any emotion in your living space for years to come. The decadent soft petals to the rich colours and seductive shadows. My Floral art prints are brought to life on Giclée fine art paper, using archival inks. The matte paper gives depth to the shadows and gives richness to every colour, turning this once photograph into a piece of art bringing mesmerising beauty to your home.

"Every flower is a soul blossoming in nature." ― Gerard de Nerval

Floral Art Cards

The dying age of handwritten notes brought back to life with this limited selection of floral greeting cards

Timeless moments

The shadows encase the last moments whilst that little bit of light shows you there is still time to capture the most magnificent form. This is what I love to photograph. Each moment of pure beauty and transform it into art.

“Flowers too wither and fall, but they inspire one and all.” — Avijeet Das

About Me

— Brigitte Gathercole-Day, Floral Photographer

Hi there! My name is Brigitte and I have an addiction to flowers!

Not sure when it started, but I am drawn to them. Each stage of the flowering process is so beautiful to me and I want to be able to capture it's beauty in every single photograph so you can enjoy it forever!

I am very much a nature person and love the outdoors. Born in South Africa and then emigrated to the UK in my teen years, I have found my passion in photography and hope to share my journey in florals.

Print Care

Your fine art print is Giclée printed on museum quality paper. Using archival inks. Your print will come rolled inside acid-free tissue paper and placed inside of a sealed tube so that your print will not get bent or scratched. Due to the archival inks and the quality of the matte paper, please take extreme care when you take your print out of the acid-free tissue paper as the matte paper marks easily when touched with bare hands due to the oils in the skin. Stick to the edges of the print if handled.
